ACA International?s 63rd Annual Convention and Exposition in Orlando

MINNEAPOLIS, MN — ACA International – The Association of Credit and Collection Professionals – will hold its 63rd Annual Convention and Exposition at Disney?s Yacht and Beach Club Resorts in Orlando, July 17-20, 2002.


This year?s convention theme is “Catch the Excitement.” The event will include four exciting days filled with opportunities for credit and collection professionals to learn, grow and have fun. More than 30 informative workshops and sessions have been planned for all segments of the industry. Session topics include “Recent Developments in HIPAA Compliance,” “Bankruptcy Issues in the Wake of a Recession,” “Benchmarking Via the Web,” “Recruitment & Retention” and much more. Convention attendees will also have the opportunity to learn more about new products and services by visiting ACA?s Expo Hall.


Finally, ACA will offer two free seminars to convention attendees this year on Saturday, July 20. The Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA) Seminar explores the impact of the FCRA, and the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act (FDCPA) Issues for Owners Seminar takes a look at its latest compliance and legislative developments surrounding the FDCPA. Attendees must be pre-registered to attend either seminar. Space is limited.
