VANCOUVER, WA – Columbia Ultimate, the leading provider of software for collecting money, unveiled the newest addition to its Windows-based collections application – Ajent 2.05 – at the ACA International Convention and Exposition in Las Vegas last week.
Ajent 2.05 is the first upgrade in a new family of Columbia Ultimate software products developed from the ground up using a Windows-based, enterprise-ready architecture and technology platform. The platform is based on object-oriented technology and has been designed to support scalable, n-tier and database-independent enterprise applications.
Ajent 2.05 provides a rich set of functionalities suitable for third-party agencies and debt buyers collecting charged-off consumer debt. This new release features more than a dozen enhancements, including trust accounting with accounting system interface, skip tracing and credit bureau reporting, letter outsourcing and dialer integration.
Agents, supervisors, administrators and managers each access their respective, user-appropriate screens based on the roles they play in successful collection. The intuitive user interface guides users through the application, greatly reducing training time and increasing productivity.

Built-in user-configurable rules are the center point of the system. The software configures collection strategies and actions without the need for custom programming. Role-based screens and drop-down menus allow customers to quickly and easily select preferences based on their respective responsibilities.
Ajent integrates with SQL Server, Crystal Report Writer, Microsoft Word and DataJunction ? leveraging industry-standard applications and technical resources.
