At least, a current study suggests they may be wising up about credit cards.
The study, by student-loan provider Nellie Mae, shows the money students owe on their credit cards has dipped to the lowest level in seven years ? $2,169 on average.
Of course, that’s still a super-sized portion of debt for a person struggling to get through school ? especially added to the $20,500 in student-loan debt that follows the average graduate out of college.
