Greece to Sell Final Stake in Largest Bank

ATHENS, Greece – The government will sell its last direct stake in the country’s largest bank, the National Bank of Greece, the finance ministry said.

The planned sale of the 7.46 percent stake held by the government and a state portfolio agency was announced late Wednesday and is worth about euro580 million ($725 million), according to analyst estimates.
