Wendell, ID Mayor Paul Isaacson is facing a civil lawsuit over what he calls a big misunderstanding.
The Idaho Collection Bureau filed the suit on behalf of St. Benedicts Family Medical Center seeking to recover $7,917.82, plus interest and attorneys fees.
The lawsuit stems from cataract surgeries Isaacson underwent in June and July of last year.
