Auto Finance Firm Adding Hundreds of Jobs

Centrix Financial LLC plans to adds hundreds of Denver-area jobs next year and launch a major new initiative in February that will open an important avenue of business for the fast-expanding auto finance company.

Centennial, CO-based Centrix, which arranges and services auto loans for credit-impaired customers, already grew from 250 employees two years ago to 600 a year ago to about 1,000 today. And it expects to add another 300 to 400 employees in the next year, said Chairman and CEO Robert Sutton. About 95 percent of employees will be in Centennial, with the rest being sales representatives.

Under the new initiative, Centrix will market its auto-financing services directly to consumers with marred credit histories; accept information and issue cards to them through a Web site indicating the auto loan amounts for which they qualify; and let them choose from among 10 to 15 auto dealers in their area. At the dealerships, the consumers will be able to get prenegotiated discounts on auto purchase prices and on post-purchase services such as oil changes.
