NARCA Welcomes New Board Members

The National Association of Retail Collection Attorneys (NARCA) today announced new members of its Board of Directors and its President-Elect. Six Vice-Presidents will serve two-year terms, while the President-Elect will serve for three years: one year as President-Elect and two years as President. The elections took place as part of NARCA’s Fall Collection Conference in Vancouver, BC, Canada.

Charles Pona, a partner with Weltman Weinberg & Reis Co LPA will serve as President-Elect. Robert Markoff of Baker Miller Markoff & Krasny was elected to join NARCA’s Board of Directors. David Silverman of Silverman Law Firm, P.C. will rejoin the Board, having served from 1997 to 1999. Thomas L. Canary, Jr. of Mapother and Mapother, PSC, Cynthia Jeffrey of Javitch Block & Rathbone, Richard Daniels of Daniels Law Office, P.C., and Ron Opher, Attorney at Law, were reelected to the Board. The Board appointed Carl Cresci of Epstein & Cresci to fill the Vice-Presidential term of Charles Pona, who became President-Elect.
