ICC Credit, one of the UK’s leading credit reference agencies, today announced, that its ultimate parent company, Bonnier AB, has formed a joint venture with Ratos, a Nordic private equity firm. This has created a new European market leader in credit information by merging Bonnier Business Information (BBI), one of Europe’s leading information companies and the Ratos-owned company Infodata.
The newly formed group, with approximately 2,300 employees in 18 countries, is expected to have sales this year of roughly £262m ($478 million) and a profit (EBITA) of just under £27m. Ratos, the Nordic private equity firm, will own 80% and Bonnier AB 20% of the new group.
