Credit and Collection Professionals to Participate in National Credit Education Week

MINNEAPOLIS,MN – April 19-24, 2004, credit and collection professionals across the nation will team up to participate in National Credit Education Week. This annual event is a public service campaign to remind consumers about the importance of financial literacy and how developing good money management habits now will benefit their fiscal health and peace of mind in the future.

This year?s theme, ?Credit education…the most important piece of the puzzle,? emphasizes that financial education shouldn?t be just an afterthought, but the cornerstone of lifelong money management success.

Whether it be through free credit reports and financial advice or a classroom presentation on identity theft, National Credit Education Week is a creative way to educate consumers about financial issues affecting their everyday lives.

National Credit Education Week is sponsored by ACA International and held in conjunction with the Jump$tart Coalition’s National Financial Literacy for Youth Month.
