The Commercial Collection Agency Association (CCAA) of the Commercial Law League of America (CLLA) announced today its Certified Collection Professional Program.
Emil Hartleb, Executive Director of CCAA, said, ?This program will provide CCAA members with a cost-effective vehicle for educating their professional employees. The program is quite comprehensive covering all aspects of the commercial collection industry. Successful completion of this program will result in knowledgeable professionals who have an excellent grasp of the workings of the commercial collection industry. It is an excellent program for developing top notch collectors as well as candidates for supervision and management positions within the industry.?
Hartleb further stated that the program is also an excellent employee recognition vehicle for CCAA members. He said, ?In the highly charged collection environment agencies are always striving to recognize those who have excelled. This program is an effective way of doing that.? CLLA Certification, administered by the CCAA, has become an important imprimatur in the commercial collection industry. Credit grantors look to the CLLA Certification as an important requirement in selecting an agency. Hartleb said, ?It is CCAA?s goal to build on that reputation and to achieve for the Certified Collection Professional Program the same recognition and confidence as the CLLA agency certification. The same high standards of excellence that credit grantors have come to expect from CCAA will be applied to this program.?
In the near future, the following logos will become important ?marks of a professional? in the commercial collection industry:
