PSC Info Group Achieves SAS 70 Type II Certification for 3rd Consecutive Year

VALLEY FORGE, Pa. – PSC Info Group, a national provider of innovative, technology-enabled solutions and proven revenue acceleration tools to streamline the collection of consumer payments, announced today that for the third consecutive year it has successfully completed the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants’ (AICPA) Statement on Auditing Standards No. 70 (SAS 70) Type II audit.

SAS 70 verifies a service organization has been through an in-depth audit of both its IT and business process controls. The audit is conducted by an independent CPA firm, which analyzes the organization’s process control structure to ensure the reliable mitigation of risks across the enterprise. SAS 70 is the only nationally recognized, peer-reviewed assessment of both IT and business process controls specific to the audited company’s operation. The successful SAS 70 audit assures the effectiveness of internal controls, and it provides validation and assurance that PSC Info Group employs uniform and reliable operational controls.

PSC Info Group’s SAS 70 audit, conducted by IS Partners, LLC, considered a broad range of business processes including internal procedures, corporate ethics and defined workplace codes; internal monitoring, quality assurance and oversight; data security and integrity; physical security; design, development and change cycles for hardware and software systems; and records maintenance. This year, PSC will undertake the new AICPA Attestation Standard, SSAE No. 16, as part of its SAS 70 audit of controls and processes.
