Ontario Systems, a leading receivables management technology and services provider, announced it has received the Wellness Council of Indiana’s esteemed three star AchieveWELL recognition today, for advancement in programs and culture aimed at creating and encouraging worksite wellness.  The announcement was communicated formally at the Indiana Health and Wellness Summit’s luncheon, October 7th at the Indiana Convention Center.

Part of the Indiana Chamber of Commerce, the Wellness Council of Indiana developed AchieveWELL to assist employers in creating a corporate culture that encourages and supports employee health through worksite wellness programs.

“In 2012, we began education and program development to encourage general well-being and healthy lifestyles,” says Jill Lehman, Vice President and Chief People Officer at Ontario Systems. “Through the efforts of the Wellness Committee, along with Ontario Systems associates, we have not only been able to achieve this recognition, but more importantly, we are seeing a health-focused transformation across our workforce, which is the real reward.”

“We have gone from an organization with limited focus on wellness to one that is leading the way, inspiring others and moving toward four- and five-star AchieveWELL status,” Lehman continues. “It’s happened because we have passionate leaders dedicated to improving our team’s overall health, and remarkable employees who have responded with enthusiasm and hard work. We’re proud of what’s been accomplished in such a short time, and look forward to what we can achieve in the future.”
