Edcon, Africa’s largest fashion retail group, recently finalised the purchase of the clothing chain Topic. Edcon selected PIC Solutions to assist with the data conversion of Topic’s portfolio onto their VisionPLUS® system.
PIC Solutions was responsible for extracting all customers’ account-level details and their statement history spanning 6 months, from the Topic VisionPLUS® system, before this system was shut down for the last time. With the assistance of both Topic and Edcon personnel, this process was successfully completed on time, allowing Edcon to complete a very smooth and successful transfer of Topic account-holder information to their own systems.
