BillingTree®, one of the nation’s leading on-demand payment processors, today announced the company is committed to three top level speaking engagements over the next four weeks. Utilities Sales Manager Art Coutcher will present at all three as an extension of the company’s thought leadership and development program for the Utilities market.

Mr. Coutcher will be speaking at the AGA American Gas Association Uncollectibles Workshop on Thursday, September 20 at 8:30 a.m. in Detroit, MI. His session, Mobile Payments and Alert Communications – Changing Your Bottom Line, will address how using this emerging technology can directly impact the bottom line and improve customer satisfaction by using an SMS strategy for payments and collection of past due statements. His message – most of American adults send and receive text messages, so harnessing this vital new communications channel to improve relationships with customers is not an option but a necessity.

The following week at the Utility Payment Conference in San Diego, he will address decision makers on September 25 at 1:45 p.m. on The New Billing and Payment Frontier – Text & Pre-paid. His message will include a look at customer implementations of text notifications, billing and payments and offer guidance on how pre-paid services can allow EBPP benefits to unbanked customers.

Finally, Mr. Coutcher will wrap up his current speaking tour with a presentation at the Conferences Connect Billing and Payments for Utilities Conference on Oct 2 at 8:00 a.m. in Denver, CO. His presentation, Save Thousands with a Comprehensive EBPP Solution will look at how to structure and market e-Billing services for optimal customer adoption, and examine the experiences of utilities that have gone through bill re-design projects, are offering text notifications, and now take payments through mobile devices.
