Today, the Executive Committee of the California Association of Collectors accepted the resignation of President Jerry Greenblatt. Jerry resigned as CAC president to focus on his health. Jerry has faced a number of health challenges in recent years and most recently suffered a stroke.

Jerry has been a champion of CAC within the state and nationally, serving as an ACA National Director, on the CAC Board of Governors and Executive Committee, the Strategic Planning Committee, the National Relations Committee, president of Chapter 4 and as a member of the Education Committee. He also served as a member of the ACA FCRA task force to the Federal Trade Commission. He has received the President’s Award, Gus Cohen Hershey Award and the Richard J. Bullock Award from CAC. Jerry has served CAC and the collection industry tirelessly and passionately throughout his 10 years as a member of CAC.

The members of the Executive Committee and the staff members of CAC wish Jerry well as he focuses on his health concerns.

CAC is a non-profit association that represents over 300 third-party collection agencies throughout the state. CAC’s mission is to promote, stimulate, increase and improve the educational, social, economic and ethical welfare of the California collection industry and the public it serves.
