San Antonio’s bilingual work force helped convince LTD Financial Services to open a new 200-employee call center here, a company official said.
The Houston-based collection agency plans to open the facility in March at a 17,600-square-foot building in the Corporate Square complex at 4801 N.W. Loop 410, said Jamie Campise, LTD Financial’s director of sales and marketing.
“We picked the building because it’s expandable,” Campise said. “If we need to grow it, we will grow it. If we need to go to 1,000 employees eventually we will. There are no limits.” Initially, LTD Financial Services will start with 100 employees and plans to double its operations by the end of the year, Campise said. The jobs will have salaries ranging from $24,000 to $36,000. Positions include everything from account representatives to managers. The company has opened a job hotline at (800) 414-2101, ext. 2175.
