J.P. Morgan Chase, which recently acquired Bank One Corp., is being courted by executives from both MasterCard International and Visa in order to convince the bank to choose one of them as the card of its choice, the Wall Street Journal reported on Monday.
The newspaper, citing people familiar with the situation, said both credit card companies had dispatched teams of executives to woo J.P. Morgan.
