Compliance around TCPA is murky and fraught. Not using a dialer at all isn’t necessarily the best business practice, but using a dialer to call cell phones can put a company on the wrong side of the statute. Technology options exist that can help with TCPA compliance — but none are without some risks.

Interactive Intelligence has published a whitepaper on insideARM.com that looks at various options a collection agency might have, or decisions a company may make, and details the risks and benefits for each. Interactive Intelligence partnered with attorneys David Kaminski of Carlson & Messer, LLP; and Anita Tolani of Weinberg, Jacobs, and Tolani, LLP.

The paper is available for free download to registered subscribers of insideARM.com.

In addition, on 2 October 2012, Interactive Intelligence is hosting a webinar about this topic. Several attorneys will be on hand — including Anita Tolani; John Rossman of Moss & Barnett; and Don Maurice of Maurice & Needleman, P.C. – to have an open and frank conversation about technology and TCPA compliance, as well as spending time answering audience questions in the webinar, “TCPA Compliance and Technology Options: Opportunities, Pitfalls, and the Law.”

Registration for the webinar on 2 October, from 2.00 p.m. – 3.15 p.m. Eastern, is open now.
