Chicago, IL — Titled “Collecting Judgments,” Harold Stotland explains the process of collecting judgments, with an emphasis on commercial collections. He explains the requirements for a final judgment for money and the process of collections including court processes and out of court negotiations and pressure tactics. The course examines both technical legal requirements and the practicalities of collections in four 15 minute segments. This course provides one hour of Illinois MCLE credit.

Harold Stotland graduated from the University of Chicago and John Marshall Law School and was admitted to practice law in 1964. He concentrates his practice primarily in the representation of commercial creditors, and he has also represented consumer creditors, trustees in bankruptcy, and trustees in assignments for the benefit of creditors. Mr. Stotland has made numerous presentations on this and related topics for bar association and trade groups.
