Stellar Recovery, Inc. announced today that Doffie Howard has been promoted to Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Stellar Recovery, Inc., effective immediately.

“Doffie Howard has been with Stellar since the beginning in January 2009. He has held many positions and roles at Stellar including President,” said John Schanck, Stellar’s President and Chairman. “Doffie has been responsible for the success of Stellar since the beginning. He has demonstrated incredible leadership and extraordinary decision making ability to lead Stellar to were it is today and were it will be in the future.”

Stellar Recovery was founded in 2009 with two small locations and only $2.5 million in top line revenues. The company has grown under Doffie Howard’s leadership to $15 million in top line revenues in 2011 and a projected $20 million in 2012. Stellar currently has 90 employees in Jacksonville, Fla. and 55 employees in Kalispell, Mont.

“We are expanding in Jacksonville in Q4 by taking an additional 6,000 square feet,” said Howard. “This is the second expansion for our Jacksonville office this year.  We are at 100 percent capacity and this Q-4 expansion will allow us to add an additional 30 collectors, payment posters, QA, and back office positions in 2013 as Stellar continues to grow.”

Howard went on to say that credit for Stellar’s success has to be given to the company’s staff.

“Keith Jones, President of Sales, has done an incredible job of up-selling our current client base and lining up key clients boarding in Q4 and Q1 of 2013,” noted Howard. “Garrett Schanck, Chief Operating Officer (COO), has done an outstanding job since joining us in 2010. He has been responsible for the Jacksonville location and its success since opening in January 2011.”

Howard said that Stellar would continue to purchase receivables and continue to board new clients. Stellar currently owns and manages $1 billion in distressed assets. In addition, Stellar will have completed ISO by the end of Q4, and the company is currently PCI type II and SSAE 16 II certified.

Stellar Recovery, Inc. is an Accounts Receivables Company (ARM) based in Jacksonville, Florida with a branch location in Kalispell, Montana.
