CU Recovery Collection Academy announced today the successful launch of its Bridge to Collection Solutions. The 2-day “Connecting & Collecting” event took place November 8-10 in Bloomington, Minn. More than 50 credit union collection team members met for 2 days filled with hands-on education and interactive role play.

CU Recovery’s Vice President of Sales & Service, Wendy Elieff opened the Academy speaking to the development and commitment of the Academy. Wendy stated that focus of the Academy is “as a resource of continuing education to assure the success of credit union collection departments in meeting member service and delinquency reduction goals.”

Academy sessions and moderation of an industry roundtable discussion were led by CU Recovery, Inc. & The Loan Service Center, Inc. founder and President, Kelly Becker. Kelly’s dynamic, highly interactive and detail‐rich content brought rave reviews from attendees who left with a greater level of confidence in their ability to resolve delinquent accounts:

“This was different from other collection seminars I have attended. We did not go over general collections. The seminar content was packed with ideas I can really use.”

“All the information presented will help me improve, enhance, and diversify, my collection department.”

“I was pleasantly surprised at the level of interaction and class participation.”

Wendy and the CU Recovery Academy extended a special thanks to the Collector Roundtable panel of experts who closed the 2 days discussing tough collection topics of specific interest to the attendees.

“Feedback from the Academy attendees reinforces our commitment to continue offering course material that has real value in the everyday workplace,” said Elieff.

The next CU Recovery Academy is scheduled for September 19‐21, 2012. For information on registration, visit www.curecovery.com or call 800 377 1798
