Scott comes to CBE with vast experience in government relations and business development, along with Fortune 500 marketing and brand strategy expertise. Before joining CBE, he served as a consultant for various BPO, AR, and consumer lending firms while a Principal at Merak Associates, LLC. Prior to that, Scott built teams focused on strategic growth at Navient as Vice President of BD, Sales, and Marketing and served as President of its Asset Performance Group. He also previously worked at Sallie Mae for more than a decade in various roles including Vice President of Government Affairs and Services. Buchanan holds a Master of Public Policy degree from George Mason University and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science from Davidson College.
