Global Analytics is pleased to announce that Craig Nies — former Senior Director, Healthcare and Organizations Product Development for Fair Isaac — has joined its team as Vice President of Software Development. Nies brings 17 years of software development experience, including his work as the primary architect and lead-developer on the creation of the processing engine that HNC/Fair Isaac has been using for the past 13 years to power many of its analytic products, most notably the Falcon product. These products have saved companies billions of dollars over the years by detecting credit card fraud worldwide.

"We look forward to Craig applying his extensive knowledge of neural network models and software development to design and direct the creation of software that will be the foundation for Global Analytics fraud products," said Krishna Gopinathan, CEO and founder of Global Analytics. "Craig’s skill and experience will allow us to bring customers on-line much more quickly by developing top quality solutions that will help companies make better decisions by better understanding their data."

"I am pleased to join Global Analytics and have the opportunity to work again with many of my former colleagues from Fair Isaac and HNC Software whom I admire for their unrivaled creativity, and their application of rigorous models and innovative analytic methods to solve a wide variety of unique problems for their customers," commented Nies.

"In an age where software technologies turn over every few years, it is quite an accomplishment to have a software component run virtually fault-free for such a long time as Craig has been able to do with many of the products that run on the processing engine he helped design," said Gopinathan. "It is great to be working with Craig once again, and we look forward to creating something even better with Craig as part of our team at Global Analytics."
