BillingTree, one of the nation’s leading on-demand payment processors, today announced two major VP appointments to further enhance its executive management team.

Liz Caracciolo joins as Vice President of Corporate Development, responsible for extending and augmenting the company’s partnership and strategic alliances program. Richard Knowles, the company’s Controller, has been promoted to Vice President of Finance after four years in the company. The announcements follow the recent appointment of David Roberts as President and CEO, with the mission to spearhead the company’s next period of substantial growth.

Caracciolo brings 20 years’ experience in a variety of business development and customer facing roles. Prior to joining BillingTree, Caracciolo worked as the Director of New Product & Service Development at Bank of America Merrill Lynch’s Equity Plan Business. She was previously the Director of Marketing and Client Services at Equity Methods, where she was responsible for leading and developing the company’s key business partnerships to optimize growth, including companies such as Merrill Lynch, Charles Schwab and the Bank of New York/Mellon.

Richard Knowles, the company’s Controller, has been appointed to a newly created role as Vice President of Finance. Knowles has been with BillingTree for four years, and prior to joining the company, spent time within finance departments from a number of multi-billion dollar companies, including KB Homes and Safeway.
