’s annual Best Places to Work in Collections program, now in its eighth year, is officially open for registration!

The 2015 Best Places to Work in Collections program is sponsored by the Compliance Professionals Forum, the ARM industry’s only membership organization that helps compliance professionals navigate the fast changing world of regulatory oversight.

The Best Places to Work in Collections celebrates excellence among ARM companies in three size categories: Small (15-49 employees), Medium (50-149 employees) and Large (150+ employees).

Registrants participate in a two-part survey process. First, employers provide information on workplace policies, practices, philosophy, systems, and demographics. Then, employees complete a survey that measures the employee experience and job satisfaction.

The combined scores determine the top companies and the final rankings. Best Companies Group, an independent company that facilitates “Best Places to Work” programs nationwide, manages the overall registration, survey and analysis process and determines the final rankings.  Learn more about the process.

But it’s not only about winning. All participating companies receive a free one-page Employer Benchmark Summary, and will have the opportunity to purchase the full Employee Feedback Report that provides valuable data including a spreadsheet summarizing employee feedback, written employee comments, and industry benchmark information. A healthy culture is one of the best secret weapons you can develop. You need to know what your employees think – this is invaluable information, and offered at a very small fraction of what it would cost you to hire someone to gather it for your company (if you don’t use a 3rd party, you won’t get candid feedback).

Here’s what one long-time participant recently told us about the program:

“We have taken part in the Best Places to Work in Collections program for the past 6 years and were proudly named as one of the Best Places to Work in Collections for 3 of those years. We are proud of each time that we have achieved this honor as we have always valued our employees and take great pride in their hard work. Additionally, the positive responses we get from our current clients and prospects is far more than we ever anticipated. For the years that we did not achieve this honor, we looked at the feedback report and used it as a valuable tool to improve our company and processes in a way that motivates and inspires our employees.”
