Fast growing Lowell Group, one of the UK’s largest debt purchasing and contingent collections groups, has appointed Tish Joyce to the new role of Director of Change Management.

In her new role, Tish will head up Lowell’s Change Management function and sit on its Leadership Board, taking overall responsibility for the prioritisation and successful delivery of change management projects throughout the business.

Tish was most recently with ASDA where she managed the Retail Operations IT Portfolio and had responsibility for leading the Multichannel Transformation Programme on behalf of ASDA Direct and George.com. Previously she has held senior change management roles, both in the UK and Irish Republic, with major organisations including Gateway 2000, Microsoft, O2, Sapient, BT Global Services and Phone 4 U.

Lowell Group’s Chief Information Officer, Gary Edwards, commented: “Lowell’s culture is one of continuous improvement and as such we are constantly looking to deliver new and innovative projects, initiatives and ways of working. Furthermore the industry is facing a number of changes, for example with new communication channels developing and a new regulatory regime on the horizon.

“As such this is a vital time for change management and delivery and I am delighted to welcome Tish to the team. Tish has very strong stakeholder management experience and an excellent background in developing business processes and driving the change management agenda and will add significant value to our already strong Change Management function.”

Tish Joyce said: “I am delighted to join Lowell at this exciting time and look forward to enhancing our change management capability. My goal is to encourage innovation with an agile and flexible approach to change whilst ensuring there is sufficient structure to minimise impact on day-to-day operations, as we grow and deliver more and more complex cross functional change.”

Tish started out in the Civil Service before successfully studying for a BA in Law and an MSc in Computing, which led to her joining US computer giant Gateway 2000 in Dublin as it launched into Europe – the start of her career in change management.
