AUSTIN, Texas — Accounts receivable management company Gila LLC today announced the appointment of Peter Kanjorski to the position of Vice President – Business Development.

Mr. Kanjorski is responsible for growing Gila’s credit union and financial institutions unit, Gila Group. “We are delighted to have someone as experienced as Peter assume responsibility for introducing more credit unions to Gila’s collection and related services. He understands the problems facing credit unions during these challenging economic times,” said Bruce Cummings, Gila’s CEO.

Mr. Kanjorski has over 20 years of senior level experience in the financial services industry, most recently in the credit and collections and consumer debt buying sectors. In his last role, Kanjorski served as Portfolio Acquisition Manager for a debt buyer and collection agency. In this capacity, he was responsible for developing new business opportunities, including serving credit unions. Previously, he served as CEO of EPO Capital, an NASD licensed broker-dealer and Executive Vice President of Lockhart Ventures. Mr. Kanjorski earned his BA from Dickinson College in Carlisle, PA.
