MALVERN, PENNSYLVANIA – Akcelerant, a provider of connected software technology to the financial services industry, announced today that TopNotch, a collection platform that Akcelerant acquired in 2009 from the Guthrie Phillips Group, has been enhanced and rebranded to become the first offering in the company’s newest product line, Akcelerant Elements.

Recent changes to TopNotch include a new look and feel, new collection functionality and a new name. TopNotch will now be known as the Collection Element and is the first of many pre-packaged, “a la carte” software products the company plans to release as part of the Akcelerant Elements product line.

“We are excited to introduce Akcelerant Elements to the industry. This new product line will be targeted for small to mid-size organizations that need simple, yet comprehensive software but may not have the resources or need for a more complicated product,” states Jay Mossman, president & CEO of Akcelerant.

As part of the initial sales strategy for Akcelerant Elements, a partnership has been formed with SWBC, a San Antonio-based financial services company and Akcelerant Gold Partner, making them the only authorized reseller. In addition, new Elements related to SWBC’s industry-leading AutoPilot Services are scheduled to be released in the first quarter of 2011 which include CPI automation, online payments, asset recovery automation and outsourced collections for early stage, late stage or charged off accounts.
