It’s not the spectre of socialism, no matter how misunderstood that term is, and it’s not legislation that digs too deeply into American pockets.

No. What healthcare reform is up against in this country is this: Human beings are the Absolute Worst at taking care of themselves.

From the article:

“The grill is where you can be yourself. We accept people as they are,” [Heart Attack Grill owner Jon] Basso says in the Sun‘s report. “(Alleman’s death) isn’t going to stop us from what we’re doing. People have got to live their lives.”

Remember how your mom wouldn’t let you smear frosting on your sugared cereal before pouring chocolate milk on it at breakfast time? Or, put another way: OH MY GOD WE CANNOT HAVE RESTAURANTS IN THIS COUNTRY CALLED “HEART ATTACK GRILL”; AND NOT HAVING A RESTAURANT CALLED “HEART ATTACK GRILL” IS NOT IN ANY WAY AN INFRINGEMENT ON YOUR FREEDOMS.

I mean, come on people.
