JPMorgan Chase & Co. has shown interest in buying a stake in British bank Standard Chartered Plc, the Asian Wall Street Journal reported on Thursday.
The newspaper quoted people familiar with the matter as saying JP Morgan had shown interest in potentially acquiring 13 percent of Standard Chartered, which has operations throughout Asia and in other developing countries.
