North Carolina Gov. Mike Easley on Thursday announced the grand opening of a new 170,000-square-foot Citi Cards call center in Greensboro’s Carolina Corporate Center.
The facility is part of a $35 million expansion that has increased the number of Citi Cards’ workers from 700 to 1,335 since April 2004. Three hundred additional workers are expected to be hired by the end of this year.
The Guilford County call center will support Citi Cards’ national credit card business and will include customer service and collections jobs. The new jobs will have an average salary of $31,400, plus benefits.
