Citigroup, the nation’s largest bank company, is adding about 100 jobs to its Irving, TX credit card operation, which already employs about 3,500 people, the company said Wednesday.

The jobs are among about 425 positions affected by the planned closing of a Citigroup credit card call center in Glasgow, Del. The other jobs will go to a Citigroup call center in Gray, Tenn., said spokeswoman Janis Tarter.

The Delaware facility is expected to close by October.
