GALVESTON – County leaders today will vote on whether to bless the merger of the law firm that has collected its delinquent taxes for years and an industry giant.
They are being asked to acknowledge the merger of Lyons and Plackemeier ? the Texas City firm that holds the county contract until the end of 2005 ? and Linebarger, Goggan, Blair and Sampson, a San Antonio-based firm whose partners include Kemah Mayor William King.
