Employees at Financial Recovery Services pitch in on blood drives, paint-a-thons, United Way fund raising, and Bikes for Kids. Could these really be debt collectors? You bet!
The employees at Financial Recovery Services come from a range of backgrounds. There?s a culinary school graduate, a psychology major, and people with backgrounds in communications and sales. As debt collectors, they apply unique personal styles to a common goal: helping people face and solve problems.
Collectors deal with a complex body of knowledge while looking at the credit report and negotiating a settlement based on the information they see on the computer screen and hear from the person on the other end of the phone.
“They have to be able to look at the facts and make decisions that are in the best interests of the debtor and the client,” says Mark Pearson, vice president of business development and marketing at Financial Recovery Services.
