Changes in federal bankruptcy laws that take effect next week have brought about major change at a local credit union.
Community Service Credit Union’s board and its members voted Thursday to become part of New Albany, IN-based Obelisk Federal Credit Union after it saw a half-million dollar drop in member equity and a major operating loss brought about because of bankruptcies.
