MANILA, Philippines – IRMC, one of America’s largest collections and customer service companies, launched its first call center operation in the Philippines with one of America’s largest telecommunications companies as its first customer. The center is a 100-seat facility in the RCBC Plaza in Makati City.
“The Philippines is central to our strategy to provide global solutions for our customer base,” said Rakesh Kumar, Chief Operations Officer of Global Solutions for IntelliRisk Management Corporation (IRMC), a premier provider of customer management solutions specializing in collections, accounts receivable management, and customer retention services.
“We are thrilled at the business climate in the Philippines and are bullish about delivering a high quality of performance for our customers that will be coming to Manila,” Kumar added.
Newly appointed Secretary of Trade and Industry Juan Santos was present at the ribbon-cutting ceremony. He was joined by executives from the telco company as well as Kumar and the first 50 Filipino employees of the new IRMC venture in the Philippines.

Kumar also commended the strength of local Philippine partners DTSI and TVI who labored hard to launch the 17th-floor call center on time and on budget, “I cannot say enough about the work ethic of our local suppliers. It bodes well for our business here in the Philippines. It has been a terrific experience. From working with the government to local vendors, the process has been smooth and efficient.”
