D&B Receivable Management Services (D&B RMS), one of the leading receivable management services companies with headquarters in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania and offices around the world, reported a record increase in new customer outsourcing applications for Third Quarter, 2004.
“As the economy continues to improve we have seen a number of national, international and middle market companies seeking expertise in receivables management,” said David Huebner, President and CEO, D&B Receivable Management Services. “For example, we introduced a new workflow tool this quarter that significantly increases productivity. This new system has excited customers and prospects. As a result of this and other customer needs, we have added fifteen new outsourcing customer relationships as well as landed significant customers on both our delinquent collections side of the business and our Insurance Segment.”
The new outsourcing customers (early collections under the customer name) come from a wide range of industries including: office equipment, computer, tool and toy manufacturing; waste disposal; Internet merchants; telecommunications; state government; transportation; information services; and health care.
In addition, new delinquent collections customers (traditional “third party” collections) come from the following industries: merchandise catalogue, waste disposal, transportation, utilities and telecommunications. Also, the Insurance Segment received a $130 million placement from a state government and significant gains from an alliance partner, large property and casualty companies, and large healthcare companies.
“I am particularly pleased to note that while many of these are new customers, a number represent returning customers from years past,” said Huebner. “It speaks highly of our team when past customers return for today?s receivable services and business solutions.”
