VANCOUVER, WA ? Columbia Ultimate, the industry expert in providing software and integrated solutions for collecting money, today announced the celebration of its lifelong customer Fred Kirschner. In commemorating Kirschner as the company?s second oldest customer, a bronze statue of Kirschner was presented at a ceremony, which took place on March 25 at the Columbia Ultimate?s Vancouver, Washington headquarters.

?Fred was an integral part of Columbia Ultimate?s success in the early days. Not only did he believe in our product, he referred us many new business opportunities and helped the company build a solid foundation from which to grow and succeed,? said Fred Houston, president, Columbia Ultimate. ?We have learned a lot from Fred, and in honoring his lifelong loyalty to Columbia Ultimate, a bronze statue of Fred was made with the motto ?Think of Fred? – which is now placed in every conference room in our office to symbolize to all of us that when we make decisions, we need to think of the customer first.?

?Columbia Ultimate and The Collector System have ? in many ways ? helped revolutionize the collections industry,? said Kirschner. ?I was impressed with not only the product but the people behind the company, and after 25 years, I am still one of their biggest fans. I am truly honored for this event, and wish the company much success in the future.?

Kirschner started in the collection industry in the 1940?s and became a Columbia Ultimate customer in 1980 after being introduced to The Collector System at an industry conference. Kirschner was past president of the ACA, and has also served as an industry consultant.
