St. Louis, MO ? Yesterday Outsourcing Solutions Inc. (OSI) notified associates at its Valley View, OH call center that the facility will close on March 31, thus eliminating all 194 positions at the site. OSI?s client decided to close the Valley View center and exit the market for which the call center provides support services. The Valley View facility closing is not related to the performance of the center. Valley View met all performance expectations.
?OSI is taking a number of steps to support associates at the center by offering pay, benefits, and severance packages in addition to a variety of services that will help associates with the job search process,? says Vania Lively, SVP operations. This effort includes hosting resume workshops and arranging onsite visits by other local employers as well as working with the state of Ohio to make sure associates know about available state services and resources?including unemployment benefit enrollment, training, and job search assistance.
