Recognizing the vital role that professional marketing can play in the success of commercial collectors, the International Association of Commercial Collectors (IACC) has retained the services of a marketing and public relations firm to promote IACC members and the association itself.

The Communication Solutions Group, of Jenkintown, Pa., specializes in promoting the distinct benefits of professional and trade associations.  The consulting firm will implement a series of marketing initiatives intended to draw attention to the professionalism, ethical practices and knowledge of commercial collectors who belong to IACC.  One of Communication Solution’s first projects will be the development and rollout of a members-only marketing toolkit.  The toolkit will contain a customizable brochure and other materials which enable commercial collectors to explain why their membership in IACC is of direct benefit to the creditors that hire them.

Other marketing initiatives planned by Communication Solutions include a proactive public relations campaign for the association and its members, informative e-newsletters, an increase in social media activities, a branding assessment and content creation for a new website.

“It’s an exciting time to be a member of IACC and we are eager to get the word out through these new marketing programs,” emphasized Lee VandenHeuvel, IACC president.

IACC’s marketing initiatives will be unveiled during its 44th Annual Convention, Momentum: Catching the Wave, which is being held January 21-23, 2015 at the James Royal Palm Hotel in Miami Beach, Florida.  A series of other informative sessions will follow the marketing launch presentation. They include:  Debt Collection in Europe, Effective Use of Loyalty Programs to Benefit Bottom Line Results, the Art of Communication, and more.

IACC will also present its annual Leadership and Distinguished Service Award at the start of the meeting during the president’s banquet on opening night.

Of course, networking events will abound, as will opportunities to learn about beneficial products and services during exhibit hall hours.

“The chance to learn from industry experts, exhibitors, and from each other at IACC’s Annual convention is unsurpassable,” stressed VandenHeuvel.

Attendees looking for a way to relax and socialize with others following a day of educational sessions will find great options during a bowling event at Lucky Strike and an optional golf outing at Turnberry Isle Golf Resort.
