CLEVELAND, – Three new associates have joined the Cleveland office of Weltman, Weinberg & Reis Co., L.P.A., one of the nation?s largest creditors? rights law firms. Carrie J. Nixon will be focusing her efforts in the legal department. In 1997 she received a BA in political science summa cum laude from Ball State University (Muncie, IN) and a JD cum laude from Case Western Reserve University (2000). She is admitted to practice before the state courts of Ohio. Ms. Nixon is a member of the American and Ohio Bar Associations.


In the Cleveland foreclosure/real estate department, Sarah Pollyea will be handling foreclosures and residential evictions. Ms. Pollyea has a BA in political science from Indiana University (1997) and a JD from Case Western Reserve University (2000). While a law student, Ms. Pollyea was an articles editor on the Case Western Reserve Law Review. She is admitted to practice before the state courts of Ohio. Ms. Pollyea is a member of the American, Ohio, Cuyahoga and Cleveland Bar Associations.


Jane K. Conrad will be joining the litigation department. Ms. Conrad brings a diverse work background to the firm. She worked as a senior marketing representative, stockbroker, and has also been self-employed as a jeweler and goldsmith. Ms. Conrad graduated from Kent State University with a BA in psychology (1980) and a JD magna cum laude from The University of Akron School of Law (2000). During law school, Ms. Conrad was a member of the Akron Law Review and published Note, Nixon v. Shrink Missouri Government PAC: Campaign Contribution, Symbolic Speech and the Appearance of Corruption (2000), 33 Akron Law Review 551. She was also a member of the American Bar Association Moot Court Competition. She received the Honorable Arthur J. Goldberg Memorial Prize in Constitutional Law. Ms. Conrad is admitted to practice before the state courts of Ohio and is a member of the Ohio and Cleveland Bar Associations.
