Asta Funding Purchases Distressed Consumer Receivable Portfolios Totaling $370 Million

ENGLEWOOD CLIFFS, NJ – Asta Funding, Inc. Since the beginning of fiscal 2005 distressed consumer receivable portfolios aggregating approximately $509 million have been purchased at a total cost of approximately $18.5 million.
