PHOENIX, AZ ? As part of its SchoolTime program, DriveTime, a Phoenix-based used car sales and finance company, raised $438,800 for 13 elementary schools nationwide, by donating more than $100 from each of its 4,004 cars sold in October.

In 2004, DriveTime launched its SchoolTime program, under which the company partners with one or more elementary schools in each of its 12 markets. The program emphasizes employee volunteerism and has included support for various school events, ?Homework Helper? and ?Christmas Angel? programs, rehabilitations projects, book donations and food drives.


SchoolTime also has helped pay for new air conditioning units, basketball court repairs and outdoor field lights.
