Columbia Ultimate, the leader in full-service collections management solutions, announced today several significant enhancements to its real-time integrated call center, CU?Converse, formerly called the Quantum® IIi.

Already the only predictive dialer with real-time and embedded integration for The Collector System®, CU?Converse has been expanded to better leverage Caller ID /ANI and user-input information, enhance scalability, improve back-end integration and support the latest data line technology.

?We?re increasing customer contact and ultimately shortening the collections cycle by improving the real-time accuracy and availability of customer call and account information. Our scalability enhancements will also help collectors maximize existing technology and improve overall efficiency,? said Tim Hickey, vice president of product management and marketing for Columbia Ultimate.

Added features include: · Enhanced call tracking: The dialer can better plan the timing of outbound calls armed with inbound tracking that records not only a caller?s phone number, but also time of day the contact was received. · Back-end integration: Inbound call processing now allows callers to enter account numbers and phone numbers when calling, enabling collectors to identify the caller immediately upon connection. · Scalability: The dialer can now support 480 lines per server, in any combination of agent, outbound, inbound, or transfer lines, with multiple telephony servers per host also supported. · Latest technology communication lines: Support for T1 PRI-ISDN lines, the most efficient type of T1 communications.

CU?Converse, in conjunction with The Collector System, automates and minimizes batch processing and helps collection agencies and in-house collection departments of banks, hospitals, utilities and government agencies, increase their contact rates by at least 2-3 times per employee and minimize daily management duties. This results in up-to-the minute dialer activity reflected on all accounts. Additionally, with CU?Converse, existing hardware and software is used so there is no need to install and maintain additional workstation-based software.
