Jim Hubbard & Associates, Inc. (JH&A), a leading provider of debt collections software to law firms, collection agencies, and financial institutions, has announced the development of a new, .NET-based debt collections software package named Colipso™. Colipso, which is due to be released in mid 2003, will be the first offering in the next generation of JH&A debt collections software. In addition to enhanced functionality, the .NET platform will allow Colipso users access to a complete suite of complementary applications provided by JH&A alliance partners. It will also provide users ease of integration to their own legacy applications through the .NET utilization of the XML Internet protocol. The company believes that Colipso will be the first .NET-enabled debt collections software application. Over 200 attendees at the JH&A Users Conference in June caught a glimpse of the new product.
Valerie Williams, Systems Administrator for Pender & Coward in Virginia Beach, Virginia and a current JH&A customer, said, ?I am very impressed with the progress of Colipso. This .Net collections product will afford us more functionality and flexibility than ever before. In addition, we can look forward to reducing our hardware costs (More)
while adding remote computing options for our clients and staff. That is a win-win solution for us.?
According to Greg Jones, JH&A?s CEO, Colipso will leapfrog existing debt collections applications, ?Colipso will be the best-of-breed debt collections software package for a number of reasons: it will be a true Windows™ application so that it is intuitive to learn and use; it will be case-centric, which is the way most debt collections cases are now managed; it is being integrated with other complementary, best-of-breed applications such as Accurint™ for debtors? records, Banko™ for bankruptcy information, and other leading software vendors? applications; and the use of XML will open up so many avenues for Internet-based access and applications that it boggles the imagination just thinking about what we will be able to do. Debt collection has been enormously enhanced by the sharing of information and the use of the Internet. We believe that our users will realize reduced costs and more effective and efficient debt collections processes from our use of this cutting-edge technology. And ultimately, providing our users a better, less costly way to manage debt collections is what we?re all about.?
JH&A?s applications software manages the debt collections process from start to finish. The firm?s offerings cover the full array of case management, client status, and statistical reporting functions. Users also have access to the firm?s data exchange network allowing them to create a virtual debt collections network between themselves and other parties involved in the debt collections process. Founded in 1983 and headquartered in Birmingham, AL, Jim Hubbard & Associates provides debt collections software solutions to more than 300 clients nationwide.
