FRANKFURT, Germany – A U.S. court has dismissed the legal action by fallen media mogul Leo Kirch against Deutsche Bank and its ex-boss Rolf Breuer, according to court documents obtained by Reuters on Tuesday.
The German media entrepreneur claimed that the former Deutsche Bank boss triggered the collapse of his Kirch media empire by talking down its creditworthiness.
In dismissing the action, however, the judge said that what Breuer had said in a television interview about the creditworthiness of the business was just his opinion and furthermore had not been proved to be false.
