United Recovery Systems (URS) was awarded the 2005 Innovator Award by Interactive Intelligence at the 2005 Interactive Intelligence User Conference. The award was given due to the advanced use of the Customer Interaction Center (CIC) software package within URS call centers and enterprise.


URS continues to be a leading edge customer that pushes the CIC to its limits and beyond. The company was recognized specifically for several technological achievements which only represent a small portion of URS’s implementation of CIC. The use of a SIP based infra-structure (IP Telephony) to aid in disaster recovery as well as toll reduction was a key point in URS winning the award this year, along with some other advanced ideas.
