WASHINGTON – The U.S. Senate Banking Committee will move quickly to hold hearings on mortgage finance enterprises Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac as the two companies sort out accounting controversies, a panel aide said on Wednesday.


“It will be an early priority for us next year and we will have hearings,” committee spokesman Andrew Gray said.
