COSTA MESA, CA – Experian®, a global information solutions company, is pleased to announce its new world-class credit-based prospecting and account management system. Built on relational database technology, the new system provides the lending and credit granting community with state-of-the-art tools to gather customer and prospecting intelligence, then utilize that information to make informed decisions.
“We launched the first phase of this project in April 2004 to a select group of clients that use our prescreen services,” said Laura DeSoto, senior vice president of marketing and product development for Experian Credit Services. “The new system, with its relational database technology, has already provided clients utilizing the platform with dramatic reductions in prescreen processing time — an average of 60 percent. Additionally, with the release of Phase II in spring of 2005, clients will notice a 50 percent improvement in Experian’s already industry-leading data freshness.”
“Thanks to the significant reductions in turnaround time for our last prescreen order from Experian, we were able to execute our marketing program earlier than expected and we realized a better than anticipated response rate,” said Doug Ward, production manager, Intercoastal Funding Corporation. “Experian has delivered a powerful new solution that gave us the speed and accuracy we needed.”
Additional capabilities will be released over the next year and will replace Experian’s current credit-based list processing systems.
Client benefits include:
- Improved bottom line results by transforming the way lenders gain, analyze and act on consumer intelligence
- Faster, more efficient data integration and processing to maximize campaign performance
- The ability to make better informed decisions with the freshest, most accurate data
- The flexibility to provide customized, easily integrated, innovative solutions
Experian will begin to transition all remaining prescreen and account management clients to the new system in early 2005. Shortly thereafter, Experian will provide lenders with additional industry-leading campaign management software along with query and reporting tools. This will enable Experian clients to analyze new markets and previous campaign performance, test lending criteria, streamline the campaign process by consolidating all list processing into the system and track campaign results. In addition to these services, Experian will launch several new products powered by the new technology, including three archive services that will allow clients to analyze archive data from Experian’s system and access historical information to determine the effectiveness of previous campaigns.
“We have created the most dynamic solution in the market that provides clients secure access to list processing and campaign management data,” said Chris Callero, president, Experian Credit Services. “Our clients told us they wanted fresher data, faster processing, more robust analysis and reporting capabilities combined with greater flexibility. We will provide this and much more.”
“This is exactly what I would expect Experian to be doing — leading the market and forging the path for their business partners to follow,” said Richard Yang, vice president Fifth Third Bank.
