Media Receivable Management, Inc. today announced the celebration of its ten years in business. Since its founding on June 22, 2001, Media Receivable Management has collected more than $117 million for their clients.

“We started Media Receivable Management in the wake of the dot-com bust and right before 9/11—with one client—and have since established ourselves as the premier collection agency for the media industry. We are all very proud of this accomplishment and grateful to our clients and employees who helped get us here,” said Co-Founder and Executive Vice President Dean Churack.

Since 2001, Media Receivable Management has evolved from a small collection agency with a focus on magazine publishing to a thriving business with an international reach that includes clients in TV, radio, and outdoor and digital media.

Co-Founder and President John Serafine added, “Fueled by technological changes and an evolving public demand for content, the media industry has seen significant changes in the last decade. As a result of economic challenges, accounts receivable management, specifically relating to cash flow, has played an increasingly important role for media companies. The numerous accolades we’ve received from longstanding clients have affirmed that our agency’s ability to effectively adapt to the industry’s changes and challenges has been the key ingredient to our success.”

Media Receivable Management specializes in collecting media-related accounts receivable. The agency was founded in 2001 by media-industry credit and collections veterans with experience in managing media-related accounts receivable in the United States, the Caribbean, Mexico, South and Central America, and Europe. The agency is headquartered in North Miami Beach, Fla. with offices in New York, Tampa, and St. Maarten.
